実りの秋: Welcoming Autumn at Flowering Waters

実りの秋: Welcoming Autumn at Flowering Waters

実りの秋 (minori no aki) — autumn, the season of abundance. 🍂🍁

There is something about autumn that naturally asks us to slow down. Would you agree?

The air changes. It gets pretty crisp here in Washington state. The leaves begin to turn. Warm tea feels especially good between our hands, and seasonal foods remind us that there is beauty in allowing things to arrive in their own time.

For our autumn image at Flowering Waters, I wanted to capture that feeling simply: beautiful Japanese tea, a seasonal morsel, warm wood, ceramics, and the colors of momiji (紅葉). 🧡🍁✨

A little everyday abundance.

And I have to give a very special thank-you to the talented Misa Kawamura O'Donald, whose food photography brought this vision to life so beautifully. 📷🤍

As we enter another season, I'm reminded of how much Flowering Waters itself has grown through small moments—one bowl, one customer, one conversation, one event, and one cup shared at a time.

So here's to autumn.

To enjoying what we've cultivated.

To noticing the beauty already sitting in front of us.

And, of course, to drinking really good tea while we do it. 🍵🍁

この秋も、Flowering Watersをどうぞよろしくお願いします。

Thank you for continuing to grow alongside this little tea dream. I'm so grateful you're here.

Love you tea babes xo,
