Finding Zen at Seattle’s Japanese Cultural & Community Center 🌿

Seattle holds a gem for anyone who loves Japanese culture: the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Washington (JCCCW), located in a historic building on Weller Street. More than just a community hub, it’s a place where tradition and connection come alive—through language lessons, art workshops, family-friendly events, and cultural festivities.

During my visit, I stopped by the East West Chanoyu Center for a short tea session. Even a few minutes in that serene space reminded me of the beauty of intentional living. Tea has a way of grounding us in the present—and sharing that moment with others only deepens the experience. 🍵
