Girls’ Day Tea Time | Hinamatsuri Pop-Up

This Sunday, March 1st from 1–5PM, Flowering Waters and Tokaragashi are gathering to celebrate Hinamatsuri — Japan’s Girls’ Day festival and a quiet marker of early spring.

Tokaragashi will feature three (and perhaps more) handcrafted wagashi morsels — delicate sweets inspired by the season.

Flowering Waters will serve:

• Traditional loose leaf green teas

• Ceremonial-style matcha (ippuku)

• Matcha lattes

• Hojicha lattes

Hinamatsuri, also known as Peach Festival, honors beauty, protection, and gentle beginnings. It is a moment to gather intentionally, to celebrate softness without weakness, and to welcome spring thoughtfully.
