Girls’ Day Tea Time | Hinamatsuri Pop-up 🌸

Girls’ Day Tea Time | Hinamatsuri Pop-up 🌸

Hinamatsuri, or Girls’ Day, is celebrated every March 3rd in Japan.

Families display hina dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, and their court. The red cloth beneath them symbolizes protection. Peach blossoms represent femininity and renewal.

Historically, dolls were believed to absorb misfortune. After the celebration, they are carefully put away — a ritual gesture of care and transition.

It is a festival about wishing girls health, happiness, and strength.

We gather for tea tomorrow in that spirit — soft, intentional, and seasonal.
