Hojicha, and Taking a Breath
Share
Hojicha is the chill sister of green tea.
Its roasted leaves create a tea that’s low in caffeine, deeply comforting, and incredibly forgiving. You can brew it hot — really hot — and it still greets you with warmth and ease.
This is the tea I reach for when I want to slow down.
When the day has asked enough.
When all I need is a quiet moment and a sense of grounding.
In Japanese, there’s a phrase: 一息つく — to take a breath.
This cup is that breath.
A pause shared with the people and environments that make us feel at home.
