Spring Sakuras (Cherry Blossoms)may be saying goodbye, but this tea moment? It’s blooming. A lovely customer gifted me one of the very last cherry yokans from this year’s Sakura Matsuri (From Tokaragashi)—and you know I had to pair it with a warm bowl of Jyoraku Matcha.

A classic Japanese wagashi—a jelly-like sweet made from red bean paste, sugar, and agar-agar. It’s beautifully subtle, fully plant-based, and beloved across Japan.
