Ki-mochi: Good Feelings, Shared

Ki-mochi: Good Feelings, Shared

This Saturday, from 1–5pm near Woodland Park Zoo, I’ll be hosting a Valentine pop-up alongside @Tokaragashi.

Tokara-san is crafting a special wagashi she calls “Ki-mochi” (気持ち) — meaning feeling, or good feeling. Heart-shaped and layered with plum, yuzu, and silky azuki, these sweets are bright, refined, and perfectly balanced.

When paired with a well-made bowl of matcha or a classic matcha latte, something beautiful happens — sweetness meets bitterness, softness meets depth.

I’ll be serving traditional ippuku, classic matcha lattes, and hot green tea.
With the purchase of one 30g Jyoraku Matcha, you’ll receive a complimentary ippuku.

Come have tea.
Be sweet.
Share good feelings.
