Matcha & Wagashi Under the Blossoms: Catch Me at the Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival!

Matcha & Wagashi Under the Blossoms: Catch Me at the Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival!

Mark your calendars, tea lovers. I’ll be serving up something special this spring.

From April 11–13, I’ll be part of the Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival, held at Seattle Center’s Armory and Fisher Pavilion. This celebration of Japanese culture, tradition, and transformation is free and open to all.

What makes this year extra exciting? I’ll be serving Jyoraku Matcha the old-school way — no milk, no sugar, just pure, vibrant green tea whisked to umami perfection.

And to honor the centuries-old custom of pairing tea with sweets, I’ve teamed up with none other than @tokaragashi, the artist behind Tokara’s exquisite wagashi confections.

Together, we’re bringing you a mindful tea moment that embodies the season: fleeting, beautiful, and deeply grounding.

Come sip. Come sit. Let’s celebrate the sakura in full bloom.
