The Path Forward 🌿 | Perseverance and Patience in Tea and Life
Share
Walking through the Japanese Garden in Seattle, I found myself thinking about the path ahead — the twists, turns, and quiet spaces between. 🍵
The Japanese idiom 「石の上にも三年」(Ishi no ue ni mo sannen) teaches that even a cold stone will warm if you sit on it long enough. It’s a reminder that steady patience softens challenges and that true growth takes time.
Securing Flowering Waters’ teas has been a journey of perseverance and trust — sourcing from small, family-run tea producers who take pride in doing things the right way, not the fast way. I’m still waiting for our matcha and loose leaf teas to make it stateside, and I couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who’s been patiently waiting alongside me. 🙇🏻♀️💚🍵🍃✨
Because things of quality have no fear of time.
