This weekend, I stopped by The Spice & Tea Exchange in Portland (📍536 SW Broadway), where the air smelled of cardamom, cloves, and possibility. I sat, patiently waiting for my tea to arrive — and thought, this is it. This is the kind of waiting that feels alive.

It’s the same kind of patience that’s been brewing behind Flowering Waters’ latest teas. Our matcha and loose leaf teas are making their way stateside, slowly and beautifully. Because when you choose to work only with small, artisanal producers, every step matters. Every leaf, every harvest, every connection.

I’m endlessly grateful for those who share these quiet, tea-filled moments with me. Gratitude for the small things — for me, tea time — is really the whole point of this life journey. 🌿
