STEP 1: Sift ~2 chashaku scoops (about 2g or 1 heaping teaspoon) of matcha into your bowl.

STEP 2: Rinse Chasen (bamboo whisk) with water. 

STEP 3: Add ~2–3 oz water at 168–175°F (60–70°C).

STEP 4: Whisk gently, with intention, until a soft microfoam forms.
Watch the texture come alive.

Lift the bowl.
Drink slowly.
